Martin Asier started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Mariano Peyo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tadeu Moraes. Mariano Peyo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Leones FC's Leopoldo Lastur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Veronica in the 9th minute of play. Leopoldo Lastur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Bîlbă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute of the match FC Alinborger Galați got a corner. Leones FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Doru Teodoroiu ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 16th minute, Mariano Peyo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tadeu Moraes. The goal made the score 2-0. Tadeu Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Asier, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Leonardo Poz kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Peyo in the 28th minute of play forced FC Alinborger Galați's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Asier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Tadeu Moraes made a huge save. Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Veronica, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Mădălin Ignat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Lastur having to interfere. In the 38th minute Sebastian Bîlbă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Lastur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Alinborger Galați's Sebastian Bleile quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Poz, made in the 43rd minute of the game. Sebastian Bîlbă struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Leopoldo Lastur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Alinborger Galați. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

A collision led to FC Alinborger Galați getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Manuel Boroș hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Gaspar Sabin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeu Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Tadeu Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Peyo in the 72nd minute of play. Sebastian Bleile's late challenge caught a Leones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Bleile helped the player get up and apologised. Sebastian Bleile kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. When Jaime Mundo fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leones FC's protests and gave Jaime Mundo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Jaime Mundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Bîlbă came free, but Leopoldo Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Lastur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Bîlbă went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After 84 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Poz. In the 96th minute Martin Asier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Leones FC could leave the field as winners, despite FC Alinborger Galați having more of the ball for most of the match.
