Evaristo Pena came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Pogromcy Flaków's Liu Yang Cheng. But to his dismay, Liu Yang Cheng quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leendert Looze to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes São Paulo Leste F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kajetan Gargasz who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patanapong Xintarianos in the 66th minute of play forced São Paulo Leste F.C.'s goalkeeper Evaristo Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renatinho Dantas charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renatinho Dantas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The tension between the São Paulo Leste F.C. and the Pogromcy Flaków players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to São Paulo Leste F.C. getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ernani de Senna hit a great ball. Liu Yang Cheng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Patanapong Xintarianos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
