Nancy AFC were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Academia Monte Gordo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Noel Baker took the corner. Nancy AFC's Noel Baker was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mao Zhen Hong in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 5th match minute, Nancy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Baker to maneuver through the defense. Walter Gardner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Lustosa in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrício Lustosa in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Gardner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabrício Lustosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Fabrício Lustosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 15 minutes of play, Academia Monte Gordo's Fabrício Lustosa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Gardner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Walter Gardner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Lustosa in the 18th minute of play. Adérito Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Gardner having to interfere. Felix Howard hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Fabrício Lustosa notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Nancy AFC's Walter Gardner. Walter Gardner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the game, Fabrício Lustosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Walter Gardner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Fabrício Lustosa made a precise shot to the right of Walter Gardner. Nancy AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The supporters of Academia Monte Gordo booed when Nancy AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Baker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Matsson kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After the first half Academia Monte Gordo were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Academia Monte Gordo made a substitution. Fryderyk Grucza replaced Fabrício Lustosa. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jack Taylor to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Academia Monte Gordo booed when Nancy AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Howard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fryderyk Grucza got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-7 in the right cross in the 62nd match minute before Walter Gardner had time to react. The supporters of Academia Monte Gordo booed when Nancy AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dom Woodman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Academia Monte Gordo's Kartal Kartalov was substituted for Pascual Mouricio. After a rather tough play, Nancy AFC's Dom Woodman got a free kick in the 70th minute. Fryderyk Grucza in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Walter Gardner, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rodney Kessler hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The supporters of Academia Monte Gordo booed when Nancy AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodney Kessler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nancy AFC's zone, Fryderyk Grucza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Gardner came out of the goal and Fryderyk Grucza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Nancy AFC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Noel Baker hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Fryderyk Grucza notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Nancy AFC's Walter Gardner. Walter Gardner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute, Sam Lowe made a precise shot to the right of Mao Zhen Hong. Academia Monte Gordo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-9. Kartal Kartalov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Fryderyk Grucza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Gardner. Nancy AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fryderyk Grucza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-11. When the match was over Academia Monte Gordo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nancy AFC throughout the match.
