Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jack Taylor got the match started through his kick off. Silvinho Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Taylor in the 4th minute of play. If Emilio Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nancy AFC's goalkeeper Walter Gardner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th minute Sam Lowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Braga Junior FC's Emilio Lain ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walter Gardner. Walter Gardner yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Emilio Lain got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. José Vítor Aparecido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Walter Gardner made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Rodney Kessler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Vítor Aparecido might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Gardner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Vítor Aparecido ran back to his position shaking his head. Emilio Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Walter Gardner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Lain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Gardner having to make a save. Jack Taylor scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvinho Veiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. José Vítor Aparecido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Gardner having to make a save. Walter Gardner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Aparecido in the 41st minute of the match. José Vítor Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Nancy AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Blair Trueman hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dom Woodman in the 48th minute of play forced Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Silvinho Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nancy AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Noel Baker in the 49th minute. A collision led to Nancy AFC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Sam Lowe hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Vítor Aparecido was the one to do the kick off. Alfie Downham charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfie Downham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nancy AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Alfie Downham hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Braga Junior FC's José Vítor Aparecido got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Jack Taylor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Vítor Aparecido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Gardner having to make a save. Walter Gardner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Vítor Aparecido's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Nancy AFC:s Walter Gardner showed great skill when he stopped Emilio Lain:s penalty. Walter Gardner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Vítor Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to Nancy AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Alfie Downham hit a great ball. José Vítor Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gabriel Moscardó hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Riad came free, but Silvinho Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilio Lain struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Walter Gardner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braga Junior FC. Braga Junior FC's Hélio Vaz was substituted for José Vítor Aparecido. After a defensive mix-up in Nancy AFC's zone, Hélio Vaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Gardner came out of the goal and Hélio Vaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilio Lain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilio Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Walter Gardner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nancy AFC's Walter Gardner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Vaz in the 98th minute of play. If Emilio Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
