After 10 minutes of play, Myszków SSA's Karol Bartelak made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frankie Gunn was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Rony Rüşti got free with Antoni Teofila in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Leões do Sul 53's Hílton Britto to fire away a dangerous shot which Antoni Teofila despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Leões do Sul 53's Frankie Gunn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Spychalski in the 15th minute of play. Leões do Sul 53's supporters rose to their feet, but Breno Porto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antoni Teofila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute Breno Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Teofila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Myszków SSA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
