Martin Benat's late challenge caught a União Agrícola Barbarense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Benat helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Gloria Verdinegra AFC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Benat. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 88th minute, Gloria Verdinegra AFC's Fidel Poncio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Roberto Chaves. Zé Roberto Chaves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Zé Roberto Chaves was a little too slow when Fidel Poncio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 1-6. When the match was over Gloria Verdinegra AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than União Agrícola Barbarense throughout the match.
