With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xepe Godan in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saadettin Hatim saved Leões do Sul 53 from getting behind. Talleres de Escalada's Jonny Saran quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Breno Porto, made in the 15th minute of the game. If Xepe Godan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Saadettin Hatim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xepe Godan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Rune Olofsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Saadettin Hatim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Talleres de Escalada's Xepe Godan in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rony Rüşti got free with Serafin Bernal in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xepe Godan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saadettin Hatim having to make a save. Saadettin Hatim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xepe Godan in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xepe Godan in the 43rd minute of play forced Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Saadettin Hatim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Saadettin Hatim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Talleres de Escalada's Thibault Moon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Saadettin Hatim in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xepe Godan made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Olofsson in the 56th minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Serafin Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafin Bernal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Barreto in the 59th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Christian Urdin took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Saadettin Hatim to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Rüşti in the 73rd minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Serafin Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th match minute, Leões do Sul 53 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Gonçalves to maneuver through the defense. Saadettin Hatim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xepe Godan in the 90th minute of the match. Talleres de Escalada's attentive Jonny Saran managed to snatch the ball when Breno Porto made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. The Talleres de Escalada players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
