Eriberto Manilan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Kaplan fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Kaplan's Orlando Teofilio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Kaplan's Alvaro Cordarrol in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Emilian Martinez made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Tiburcio Tino sent off a good shot on target. After 47 played minutes Kaplan got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Cordarrol. In the 48th minute, Alvaro Cordarrol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justino Kusko made a kick off. Justino Kusko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emilian Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Kusko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilian Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Kusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. When Kaplan's Luciano Victoro in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 77th minute, Justino Kusko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emilian Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Cositorto, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Damião Granja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Kaplan's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Kusko came free, but Emilian Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ren Zhi Ke got free with Eriberto Manilan in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Kaplan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than A.F Cuervos Azulgranas throughout the match.
