In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goalkeeper Olgierd Borcz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Artur Binau got a free kick in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryszard Pilipiec in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olgierd Borcz saved RW AHLEN-KNURÓW from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Dylla came free, but Olgierd Borcz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute Pogoń Stawiszyn were awarded a corner. Radoslaw Trojanowski went to the cornerflag to take it. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Radoslaw Trojanowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Olgierd Borcz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szymon Beninda in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes RW AHLEN-KNURÓW got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Chowaniec. 26 minutes into the match, Ryszard Pilipiec notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Olgierd Borcz. Olgierd Borcz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilbert Podolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Przemyslaw Pincoski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Szymon Beninda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilbert Podolski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Bartosz Faron threw the ball into play from the sideline. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Norbert Wolczewski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Przemyslaw Pincoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. Igor Dziewedik made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Lukasz Chowaniec. Ryszard Pilipiec struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Olgierd Borcz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pogoń Stawiszyn. Ryszard Pilipiec scored 0-4 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olgierd Borcz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Pogoń Stawiszyn were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Szymon Beninda to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Ryszard Pilipiec cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Olgierd Borcz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ryszard Pilipiec in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olgierd Borcz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olgierd Borcz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Pilipiec in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Radoslaw Trojanowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olgierd Borcz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Norbert Wolczewski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Igor Dziewedik in the 66 minute of the game. If Przemyslaw Pincoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74thth minute of the game Ryszard Pilipiec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Olgierd Borcz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Radoslaw Trojanowski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goalkeeper Olgierd Borcz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Olgierd Borcz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Przemyslaw Pincoski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gilbert Podolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Norbert Wolczewski got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 84 minutes, Norbert Wolczewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RW AHLEN-KNURÓW and the Pogoń Stawiszyn players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes RW AHLEN-KNURÓW got a freekick which was hit by Norbert Wolczewski. Kazimierz Dylla had several of the RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Olgierd Borcz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Olgierd Borcz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Pilipiec in the 91st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryszard Pilipiec in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olgierd Borcz saved RW AHLEN-KNURÓW from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Ryszard Pilipiec ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olgierd Borcz. Olgierd Borcz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. The RW AHLEN-KNURÓW supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pogoń Stawiszyn's performance. The match ended with a win for Pogoń Stawiszyn.
