A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Eriberto Manilan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neal Weatherby in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th minute Neal Weatherby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Leonardo Cositorto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Elderslie Magpies's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Justino Kusko fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 25 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Cositorto came free, but Christian Kerville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Kerville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Kusko in the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Elderslie Magpies booed when A.F Cuervos Azulgranas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. With a little luck, A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's Eriberto Manilan got control of the ball when Rick Souness tried to sneak it across the goal line. Finnlaugur Ásvaldsson was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The A.F Cuervos Azulgranas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Neal Weatherby hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Pere Villanueva got a free kick in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that A.F Cuervos Azulgranas were the better team. A.F Cuervos Azulgranas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
