Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Elderslie Magpies's Steven Chaptal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Christian Kerville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Askelöf in the 2nd minute of the match. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by David Cărtărescu in the 4th minute. David Cărtărescu made a great header on -BZF- Valea Buzăului's corner, it was just that Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rick Souness in the 8th minute of play forced -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Panait Frânculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rick Souness in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Panait Frânculescu saved -BZF- Valea Buzăului from getting behind. Christian Kerville made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dănuț Roman in the 10th minute. Christian Kerville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Askelöf in the 11th minute of the match. Adrian Nicolae's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christian Kerville firmly grabbed it by the left post. After taking down the ball on -BZF- Valea Buzăului's corner David Cărtărescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christian Kerville quite easily take care of the ball. In the 16th minute Inge Askelöf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Kerville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inge Askelöf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Kerville having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Elderslie Magpies's zone, Inge Askelöf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Kerville came out of the goal and Inge Askelöf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd match minute, Elderslie Magpies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arty Behla to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's David Cărtărescu tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Ovidio Etxekopar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elderslie Magpies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave -BZF- Valea Buzăului the free kick. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ovidio Etxekopar hit a great ball. Christian Kerville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inge Askelöf in the 29th minute of play. -BZF- Valea Buzăului were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Elderslie Magpies's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Cărtărescu took the corner. David Cărtărescu made a great header on -BZF- Valea Buzăului's corner, it was just that Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville managed to reach the ball for a save. Christian Kerville was a little too slow when Dominik Brett got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-0. 43 minutes into the match, Dănuț Roman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Christian Kerville, 3-0. In the 48th minute Rick Souness shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Frânculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
-BZF- Valea Buzăului's Virgil Mincu was substituted for Inge Askelöf. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgil Mincu to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Virgil Mincu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Christian Kerville was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ionuț Jităreanu scored 5-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Kerville, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elderslie Magpies made a substitution. Earl Prince replaced Gilberto Fernandes. 62 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Dănuț Roman came free, but Christian Kerville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Ionuț Jităreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Kerville was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Christian Kerville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dănuț Roman in the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Earl Prince got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Christian Kerville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Mincu in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Ionuț Jităreanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Kerville. Elderslie Magpies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ionuț Jităreanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Christian Kerville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Mincu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Kerville came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Dominik Brett. But to his dismay, Dominik Brett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Christian Kerville didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dănuț Roman went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Rareș Tulbure hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Christian Kerville came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Dănuț Roman. But to his dismay, Dănuț Roman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0.
