With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 played minutes Corinthians got a freekick which was hit by Fred Royal. Ceferino Ekhi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rubinho de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th match minute, Corinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiril Biradzhiev to maneuver through the defense. The Corinthians players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented El Lobo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
