In the 4th match minute, Botev Plovdiv 1912 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toni Tagarov to maneuver through the defense. Roni Coryn took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Bale. Christian Bale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Christian Bale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bob Leerbels in the 8th minute. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Botev Plovdiv 1912's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bob Leerbels was slow to take the kick. During this time Bacardi FC's players had a chance to rest. Dominguez Codony fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Dauwen having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Botev Plovdiv 1912's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoud Van Gestel came free, but Christian Bale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bacardi FC's Bob Leerbels was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Christian Bale in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bob Leerbels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Botev Plovdiv 1912's goal looked a bit too open when Roni Coryn came free, but Christian Bale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bacardi FC's Roni Coryn in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Botev Plovdiv 1912's goalie prevented a goal. After 21 minutes Botev Plovdiv 1912's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bob Leerbels who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Cornelis Rondas heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Arnoud Van Gestel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Christian Bale made a huge save. In the 25th minute Dominguez Codony shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Dauwen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roni Coryn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Christian Bale when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute Dominguez Codony shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Dauwen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dominguez Codony had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Di Kun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Dauwen. Bacardi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Di Kun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Leo Dauwen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Kun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roni Coryn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Christian Bale made a huge save. Roni Coryn struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Christian Bale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacardi FC.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Di Kun made a kick off. Di Kun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Leo Dauwen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roni Coryn in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Bale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, one of Botev Plovdiv 1912:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Botev Plovdiv 1912. Leo Dauwen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Kun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Di Kun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bacardi FC's Eeng Kuswanto was substituted for Bob Leerbels. Anthony Steuckens made in the 70th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Botev Plovdiv 1912's Dominguez Codony. Christian Bale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roni Coryn, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Dominguez Codony hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Botev Plovdiv 1912's goal looked a bit too open when Eeng Kuswanto came free, but Christian Bale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bacardi FC's Leo Dauwen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Di Kun in the 81st minute of play. Bacardi FC's Charlie Vercalsteren was substituted for 乔适桑. In the 83rd minute of the match Botev Plovdiv 1912 got a corner. Bacardi FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Billy Borre ran over to the corner to take the kick. Christian Bale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eeng Kuswanto in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute Eeng Kuswanto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Bale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoud Van Gestel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bacardi FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
