The audience was convinced that Ceferino Ekhi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ezequiel Boniel was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 15thth minute of the game Ceferino Ekhi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL PEPO FC's Ezequiel Boniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in EL PEPO FC's zone, Benjamin Paz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Boniel came out of the goal and Benjamin Paz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd match minute, EL PEPO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Tiso to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Guillermo Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulises Berdaitz took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ezequiel Boniel. Ezequiel Boniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The El Lobo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Ezequiel Boniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Berdaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaac Tiso kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Joesph Dalton fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Camilo Policarpio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Joesph Dalton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulises Berdaitz scored 0-9 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ezequiel Boniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. During the 82nd minute of the match Isaac Tiso completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Isaac Tiso a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
