Vlad Covrig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jaroslaw Czerwinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Bârsan in the 37th minute of the match. FC Szczucin were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Angelo Sayveon took the corner. The wind increased when Angelo Sayveon made the kick off in the second half. One of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Szczucin:s goal. Vlad Covrig had in the 96thth minute some difficulties stopping Angelo Sayveon's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 97th minute, Emil Amuguroancei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that FC Szczucin were the better team. FC Szczucin's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
