The supporters of RomoLerouX UniteD UXX booed when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Rotariu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edwin Romaza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shao Chong in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Matheus Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Covrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vlad Covrig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ender Yalçın scored 0-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vlad Covrig, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Adrian Bârsan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Vlad Covrig was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute Matheus Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Covrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. RomoLerouX UniteD UXX were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shao Chong made a kick off. Vlad Covrig made a fantastic save in the 50th minute, when Ender Yalçın sent off a good shot on target. After 51 played minutes PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Mititelu. Vlad Covrig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus Queirós in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match RomoLerouX UniteD UXX got a corner. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edwin Romaza ran over to the corner to take the kick.
