Spectators: 7471 (Terracing: 5604, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Strong Phoenix started the match with the kick off. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Riba in the 2nd minute of play. After 4 played minutes Longobarda got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Zărnescu. In the 5th minute Edwin Godholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Covrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vlad Covrig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Riba in the 9th minute of play. Vlad Covrig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthimos Vougas, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Edwin Godholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Covrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, Longobarda's Florian Cocca made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vlad Covrig was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Bogdan Rebengiuc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vlad Covrig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Cocca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes, Edwin Godholm made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Olimpiu Fecioru got a free kick in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Cocca came free, but Vlad Covrig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vlad Covrig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthimos Vougas in the 35th minute of play. Lev Yashin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Rebengiuc in the 36th minute. Longobarda's Lev Yashin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Longobarda from getting a goal against them. Lucian Şimonca made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Longobarda's Manuel Zărnescu. 45 minutes into the match, Florian Cocca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vlad Covrig. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florian Cocca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half Longobarda were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edwin Godholm made a kick off. Vlad Covrig came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Longobarda's Edwin Godholm. But to his dismay, Edwin Godholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Edwin Godholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Covrig having to interfere. With a little luck, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig got control of the ball when Florian Cocca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edwin Godholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vlad Covrig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edwin Godholm ran back to his position shaking his head. Longobarda's Edwin Godholm got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edwin Godholm in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vlad Covrig, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 63 minutes PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Manuel Zărnescu who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Armin Iacovone got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vlad Covrig quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 66th minute, Florian Cocca made a precise shot to the right of Vlad Covrig. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. If Edwin Godholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Vlad Covrig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edwin Godholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Covrig having to interfere. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca from getting a goal against them. Bogdan Rebengiuc kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Edwin Godholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Vlad Covrig successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edwin Godholm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vlad Covrig having to make a save. With a little luck, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig got control of the ball when Edwin Godholm tried to sneak it across the goal line.
