Spectators: 7487 (Terracing: 5616, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Strong Phoenix made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute Rodrigo Ferdinand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Covrig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Nicolas Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boquenses fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Vlad Covrig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Sancho's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Vlad Covrig came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Boquenses's Gregorio Tirso. But to his dismay, Gregorio Tirso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Vlad Covrig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogdan Rebengiuc during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Bogdan Rebengiuc got a free kick in the 16th minute. Nicolas Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Vlad Covrig made a huge save. Nicolas Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Covrig having to interfere. Vlad Covrig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 28th minute of the match. Vlad Covrig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes of play, Boquenses's Nicolas Sancho made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vlad Covrig was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 35 minutes, George Gurlui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca and the Boquenses players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca got a freekick which was hit by George Gurlui. A collision led to PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Cristinel Uncheşelu hit a great ball. Nicolas Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Vlad Covrig successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 40 minutes PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicolas Sancho who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Nicolas Sancho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vlad Covrig quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as Boquenses's Nicolas Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vlad Covrig. That made the score 5-0 after 41 minutes of play. Vlad Covrig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Vlad Covrig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Feliciano Pancho notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig. Vlad Covrig was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiberiu Rotariu's late challenge caught a Boquenses's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiberiu Rotariu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Tiberiu Rotariu got a free kick in the 62nd minute. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Nicolas Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vlad Covrig. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolas Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. When Olimpiu Fecioru fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's protests and gave Olimpiu Fecioru a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Boquenses booed when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Fecioru didn't get a good kick on the ball. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Tirso in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Nicolas Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Vlad Covrig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When George Gurlui was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. George Gurlui kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After some careless play in the PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca defense, Gregorio Tirso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vlad Covrig. The PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vlad Covrig should have stopped the shot. Vlad Covrig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Tirso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Boquenses were awarded a corner. Nicolas Sancho went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Sancho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vlad Covrig was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the game, Cristinel Uncheşelu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boquenses the free kick. In the 96th minute, Cristinel Uncheşelu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vlad Covrig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Boquenses fully deserved thier win.
