Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Richard Dawkins kicked off to start the match. Monte Lobato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Gombal in the 7th minute of the match. Raul Elazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th match minute, Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Zonta to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Shamp in the 19th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Monte Lobato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's Tiran Gol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Monte Lobato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Elazar in the 28th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Monte Lobato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monte Lobato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fábio Chițan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Dawkins in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute Raul Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monte Lobato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Raul Elazar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Santos Benet fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 47th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. The Tasso FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Elazar to make the kick off. Richard Dawkins might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fábio Chițan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richard Dawkins ran back to his position shaking his head. Fábio Chițan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Dawkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Monte Lobato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Elazar in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ were awarded a corner. Pablo Gombal went to the cornerflag to take it. Sebastián Coates tried in the 56th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Monte Lobato a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-4. Tiran Gol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Raul Elazar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 64 minutes into the game, Tiran Gol recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Monte Lobato. Tiran Gol showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. In the 67th match minute, Tasso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Dawkins to maneuver through the defense. Tasso FC's Monte Lobato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiran Gol in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ got a corner. Tasso FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pablo Gombal ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pablo Gombal made a great header on Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's corner, it was just that Tasso FC's Monte Lobato managed to reach the ball for a save. Monte Lobato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexandre de Lara in the 76th minute. A collision led to Tasso FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Severiano Torcato hit a great ball. Tasso FC's Brazilio Tasso was substituted for Santos Benet. Tasso FC's attentive Machado Assis managed to snatch the ball when Alexandre de Lara made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. Fábio Chițan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Dawkins in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Machado Assis was slow to take the kick. During this time Tasso FC's players had a chance to rest. Tasso FC's Richard Dawkins got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute of the match Machado Assis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fábio Chițan skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Favoretto during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Black Bird United ƘԼƛƝ! When Richard Dawkins came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Tasso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Dawkins couldn't finish the play.
