Baldomiro Cibran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Chap, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Feliberto Pitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Ladislao Serafo made a precise shot to the right of Baldomiro Cibran. Quilaquina AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 28th match minute, Mainumby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Acevedo to maneuver through the defense. Feliberto Pitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Guaberto Cucao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Marcel Dinescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guaberto Cucao. The goal made the score 1-1. Abel Harri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Mainumby defense, Abel Harri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guaberto Cucao. The Mainumby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guaberto Cucao should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the game, Quilaquina AFC's Marcel Dinescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guaberto Cucao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Mainumby made a substitution. Victor Gelmiro replaced Dionisio Acevedo. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lázaro Chap stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guaberto Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Dinescu in the 54th minute of the match. Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Semeno in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Feliberto Pitin notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao. Guaberto Cucao came out of the goal and Marcel Dinescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Leonel Semeno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mainumby's Guaberto Cucao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Mainumby's Victor Gelmiro got a free kick in the 84th minute. Guaberto Cucao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Semeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quilaquina AFC had won after a very even match.
