Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Semeno in the 6th minute of play. Michel Sergipano hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Régis de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Dinescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Baldomiro Cibran successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 15 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Dinescu came free, but Régis de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Dinescu charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Dinescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Quilaquina AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Marcel Dinescu hit a great ball. If Qarabulud La Forgia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Quilaquina AFC defense, Leonardo Donato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomiro Cibran. The Quilaquina AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomiro Cibran should have stopped the shot. When Quilaquina AFC's Marcel Dinescu in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palmeiras's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Quilaquina AFC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jairo Astudillo hit a great ball. Luke Clist took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomiro Cibran. Baldomiro Cibran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 39 minutes into the game, Palmeiras's Leonardo Donato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomiro Cibran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Régis de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Astudillo in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's Qarabulud La Forgia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomiro Cibran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Qarabulud La Forgia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baldomiro Cibran came out and tried to block the shot, but Qarabulud La Forgia slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcel Dinescu made a kick off. A collision led to Quilaquina AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jairo Astudillo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Donato in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Cibran saved Quilaquina AFC from getting behind. In the 59thth minute of the game Leonardo Donato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quilaquina AFC's Baldomiro Cibran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 61 played minutes Palmeiras got a freekick which was hit by Olimpiu Şelaru. Palmeiras's Tarcisio Reis was substituted for Kléberson Neiva. Palmeiras's Dudu Capixaba was substituted for Michel Sergipano. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras's Olimpiu Şelaru got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Dudu Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomiro Cibran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qarabulud La Forgia, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. A collision led to Quilaquina AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Leonel Semeno hit a great ball. If Luke Clist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Leonel Semeno could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Régis de Queirós however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Semeno got free with Régis de Queirós in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Abel Harri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilaquina AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Harri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Régis de Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonel Semeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomiro Cibran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qarabulud La Forgia in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qarabulud La Forgia in the 83rd minute of play forced Quilaquina AFC's goalkeeper Baldomiro Cibran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luke Clist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palmeiras's José Carlos Simões was substituted for Luke Clist. Régis de Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonel Semeno in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Palmeiras players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
