The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6thth minute of the game Tom-Lukas Queraria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sagene IF's Glyn Wedlock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Flamengo de San Blás's Gabriel Chavez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Glyn Wedlock made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luis Castillero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Óbolo in the 19th minute of the match. Glyn Wedlock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom-Lukas Queraria, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Tom-Lukas Queraria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Glyn Wedlock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom-Lukas Queraria in the 24th minute of the match. Luis Castillero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans-Kristian Aanes in the 29th minute of play. Luis Castillero was a little too slow when Ivan Óbolo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-1. Sagene IF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ivan Óbolo in the 33rd minute. Luis Castillero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Kristian Aanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Flamengo de San Blás's Tom-Lukas Queraria in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Sagene IF defense, Tom-Lukas Queraria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Glyn Wedlock. The Sagene IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Glyn Wedlock should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute of the match, Gabriel Chavez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Glyn Wedlock was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Chavez in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glyn Wedlock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Sagene IF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Nils-Arne Hannestad hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Felipe Cedeño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Glyn Wedlock. Sagene IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Cedeño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 84th match minute, Sagene IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Kinn to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Flamengo de San Blás's Wiliam Lozano got a free kick in the 87th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Gabriel Chavez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo de San Blás's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Chavez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Kjell Ekeli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sagene IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell Ekeli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Castillero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
