San Fernando Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gortaty the free kick. Ezequiel Marques hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Bartolo Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezary Mosiniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gortaty getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Iwo Mleczewski hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Polo Quinteros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerzy Konopka was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. San Fernando Eagles were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Gortaty's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elias Navarro took the corner. After taking down the ball on San Fernando Eagles's corner Polo Quinteros fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jerzy Konopka quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gortaty's zone, Polo Quinteros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Konopka came out of the goal and Polo Quinteros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 16 played minutes Gortaty got a freekick which was hit by Wiktor Pionek. Jerzy Konopka came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by San Fernando Eagles's Polo Quinteros. But to his dismay, Polo Quinteros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jerzy Konopka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Polo Quinteros in the 28th minute of play. Bartolo Salvator made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Franciszek Wicherek sent off a good shot on target. Cezary Mosiniak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bartolo Salvator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. San Fernando Eagles's Bartolo Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Mosiniak in the 39th minute of play. Jerzy Konopka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Polo Quinteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Arkadiusz Grajewski fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gortaty's protests and gave Arkadiusz Grajewski a yellow card for diving instead. Arkadiusz Grajewski hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When Vlad Enceanu came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the San Fernando Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vlad Enceanu couldn't finish the play.

In the 55th minute, Ulysses Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th match minute, Gortaty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Pionek to maneuver through the defense. Jerzy Konopka was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Michael Stor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michael Stor really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Vlad Enceanu succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. San Fernando Eagles made a substitution. Vicente Sol replaced Vlad Enceanu. Polo Quinteros's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jerzy Konopka firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Sol in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerzy Konopka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. San Fernando Eagles's Daniel Abeitia was substituted for Elias Navarro. The crowd rose to their feet as San Fernando Eagles's Polo Quinteros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jerzy Konopka. That made the score 1-5 after 76 minutes of play. The supporters of Gortaty booed when San Fernando Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Chorache didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Cezary Mosiniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Salvator saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Polo Quinteros was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jerzy Konopka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Sol, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Vicente Sol made a precise shot to the right of Jerzy Konopka. Gortaty's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. In the 93rd minute, Vicente Sol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Fernando Eagles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. San Fernando Eagles's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
