Spectators: 7514 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Brighouse FC's Azly Vijiaratnam started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Costin Giugiuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shen Xun Yu in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Costică Chiriloaie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Tunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.C. Milan's Costin Giugiuc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azly Vijiaratnam in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brighouse FC's Ebelechukwu Agoda got a free kick in the 6th minute. Costin Giugiuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sochi Ugochukwu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Shen Xun Yu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brighouse FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 18 minutes of play, Brighouse FC's Azly Vijiaratnam made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Costin Giugiuc was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Azly Vijiaratnam put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Costin Giugiuc. Ebelechukwu Agoda took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Costin Giugiuc. Costin Giugiuc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. A.C. Milan's Costin Giugiuc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Azly Vijiaratnam in the 35th minute of play. Eduard Crăcană kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Brighouse FC's zone, Emil Gheară stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Billy Tunberg came out of the goal and Emil Gheară tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 played minutes A.C. Milan got a freekick which was hit by Flavius Dragotescu. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dumitru Zdrăilă to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ebelechukwu Agoda in the 53rd minute of play forced A.C. Milan's goalkeeper Costin Giugiuc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, A.C. Milan's Dumitru Nichita got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Billy Tunberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumitru Zdrăilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costin Giugiuc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azly Vijiaratnam in the 57th minute of play. Anton Tatomir kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Brighouse FC were furious when Baba Dickson was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 64th minute there was a penalty for A.C. Milan. Emil Gheară stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Billy Tunberg. 1-6. In the 67th minute, Dumitru Zdrăilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costin Giugiuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azly Vijiaratnam, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Eduard Crăcană fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Tunberg having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Ebelechukwu Agoda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brighouse FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C. Milan the free kick. In the 74th minute, Azly Vijiaratnam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Azly Vijiaratnam got free with Costin Giugiuc in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 81 played minutes A.C. Milan got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Crăcană. After 84 minutes of play, Brighouse FC's Azly Vijiaratnam made it 1-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Costin Giugiuc was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute, Dumitru Zdrăilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radowit Lewicki charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radowit Lewicki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Brighouse FC booed when A.C. Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radowit Lewicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shen Xun Yu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Costin Giugiuc when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Brighouse FC's Azly Vijiaratnam ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Costin Giugiuc. Costin Giugiuc yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-8. Costin Giugiuc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azly Vijiaratnam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The A.C. Milan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Brighouse FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Brighouse FC.
