In the 10thth minute of the game Liviu Zubaşcu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Persepolis F.C.'s Santos Perez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Persepolis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Zubaşcu came free, but Santos Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aimilios Manolas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arden Poulin in the 13th minute of the match. Santos Perez came out of the goal and Liviu Zubaşcu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Fabian Kaszubowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santos Perez was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Aimilios Manolas was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Avery Merrill capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Avery Merrill really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liviu Zubaşcu made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Danny Craig put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Aimilios Manolas. Persepolis F.C. made a substitution. Dennis Rudolph replaced Gwidon Seliga. Justo Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Arden Poulin notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Uptown Otters's Aimilios Manolas. Aimilios Manolas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 90 minutes into the game, Arden Poulin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-2. Aimilios Manolas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Liviu Zubaşcu struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Santos Perez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uptown Otters. Martin Pădureanu's late challenge caught a Persepolis F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Pădureanu helped the player get up and apologised. Aimilios Manolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avery Merrill, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
