After some careless play in the Squall FC defense, Honorio Efraim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dário Viana. The Squall FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dário Viana should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Squall FC's goalkeeper Dário Viana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sport Club Mavericks's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arturo Filippini in the 10th minute. Dário Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serginho Quirino's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Dário Viana came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Sport Club Mavericks's Honorio Efraim. But to his dismay, Honorio Efraim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Dário Viana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Efraim's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Honorio Efraim notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Squall FC's Dário Viana. Dário Viana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dário Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Efraim in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Honorio Efraim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dário Viana. Squall FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Efraim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. If Luizão Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Efraim in the 24th minute of play forced Squall FC's goalkeeper Dário Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Sport Club Mavericks's corner Marcos Almeida fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dário Viana quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Honorio Efraim put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Dário Viana. Honorio Efraim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dário Viana having to make a save. 31 minutes into the match, Squall FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Efraim came free, but Dário Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luizão Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Viana having to interfere. Honorio Efraim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Celsinho Mazza fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Squall FC's protests and gave Celsinho Mazza a yellow card for diving instead. 38 minutes into the match, Honorio Efraim notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Squall FC's Dário Viana. Dário Viana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dário Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorio Efraim went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After 45 minutes, Honorio Efraim made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Squall FC's Dário Viana tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

In the 51st play minute Honorio Efraim came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dário Viana. 0-9. In the 54th minute, Sport Club Mavericks's Honorio Efraim dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Dário Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Efraim in the 57th minute of play. Luizão Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Viana having to interfere. Sport Club Mavericks's Luís Gustavo Coelho was substituted for João Paulo de Sena. When Sport Club Mavericks's Luizão Lima in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Squall FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Luizão Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dário Viana was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 65th minute, Sport Club Mavericks's Luizão Lima ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dário Viana. Dário Viana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Luizão Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Dário Viana made a huge save. 73 minutes into the match, Squall FC's goalkeeper Dário Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luizão Lima. Honorio Efraim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dário Viana came out and tried to block the shot, but Honorio Efraim slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Squall FC's goalkeeper Dário Viana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Sport Club Mavericks's Luizão Lima ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dário Viana. Dário Viana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. Dário Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luizão Lima went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-14 was the resulting score. Dário Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luizão Lima went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-15 was the resulting score. The supporters of Squall FC booed when Sport Club Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Filippini didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Squall FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sport Club Mavericks were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
