Dário Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Squall FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Di Blasio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Dário Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Di Blasio, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 36th minute Fausto Di Blasio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Squall FC's Dário Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro do Valle in the 38th minute of play. Alessandro do Valle scored 0-5 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dário Viana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harm de Freitas was the one to do the kick off. Arí da Rocha lost his temper 62 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Dário Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harm de Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Harm de Freitas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dário Viana. The goal made the score 0-12. In the 85th minute, Harm de Freitas made a precise shot to the right of Dário Viana. Squall FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-13. Inácio Freitas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Dário Viana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fausto Di Blasio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Dário Viana made a huge save. Squall FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Harm de Freitas 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-14. When the final whistle sounded MarquinhosEC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Squall FC.
