The audience was convinced that Arden Poulin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roque Dorio was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Roque Dorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Harkaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Persepolis F.C. booed when Cachilo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. The corner led Cachilo FC's Mauricio Nuno to fire away a dangerous shot which Santos Perez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Roque Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avery Merrill, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Persepolis F.C.'s Arden Poulin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roque Dorio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Roque Dorio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Esteban Montel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Santos Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Persepolis F.C.'s Arden Poulin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roque Dorio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.
