The Persepolis F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Persepolis F.C.'s Arden Poulin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Dário Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avery Merrill, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Dário Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Carlomagno in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Justo Carlomagno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Persepolis F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 16th minute Arden Poulin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Harkaitz in the 17th minute of play forced Squall FC's goalkeeper Dário Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Danny Craig sped through Squall FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dário Viana. After a rather tough play, Persepolis F.C.'s Gwidon Seliga got a free kick in the 41st minute. 47 minutes into the match, Squall FC's goal looked a bit too open when Avery Merrill came free, but Dário Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Evandro Pombal made the kick off in the second half. Celsinho Mazza charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celsinho Mazza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celsinho Mazza hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Dário Viana made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Justo Carlomagno sent off a good shot on target. Squall FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Justo Carlomagno scored to the left of an out of position Dário Viana, making the score, 0-10. In the 71st minute Túlio Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Squall FC were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Persepolis F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nildo do Valle took the corner. Dário Viana made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Justo Carlomagno sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arden Poulin got free with Dário Viana in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dário Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Harkaitz in the 80th minute of the match. Squall FC's Dário Viana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Squall FC from getting a goal against them. Avery Merrill received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dário Viana came out and tried to block the shot, but Avery Merrill slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 83rd minute. 87 minutes into the match, Arden Poulin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dário Viana, 0-12. In the 93rd minute of the match, Arden Poulin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dário Viana saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dário Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avery Merrill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the game, Persepolis F.C.'s Justo Carlomagno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dário Viana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-14. When the match was over Persepolis F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Squall FC throughout the match.
