Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Irinel Țâpu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fodil Otman in the 5th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC ciufulici defense, Fodil Otman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Irinel Țâpu. The FC ciufulici fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Irinel Țâpu should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Trabzon's goalkeeper Mustafa Hamit Kutlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernest Gheorghiu. In the 16th minute, Fodil Otman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trabzon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Mustafa Hamit Kutlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrei Joita's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Irinel Țâpu came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Trabzon's Fodil Otman. But to his dismay, Fodil Otman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Jo Adler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Irinel Țâpu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Irinel Țâpu came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Trabzon's Gencer Uluöz. But to his dismay, Gencer Uluöz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. When Gencer Uluöz came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Trabzon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gencer Uluöz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencer Uluöz in the 32nd minute of play forced FC ciufulici's goalkeeper Irinel Țâpu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Iustinian Bute was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC ciufulici's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trabzon the free kick. The supporters of FC ciufulici booed when Trabzon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mei Zhen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute Gencer Uluöz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Țâpu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mei Zhen took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Irinel Țâpu. Irinel Țâpu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencer Uluöz in the 41st minute of play forced FC ciufulici's goalkeeper Irinel Țâpu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Fodil Otman made a precise shot to the right of Irinel Țâpu. FC ciufulici's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. After the first half Trabzon were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrei Joita was the one to do the kick off. Irinel Țâpu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaid Sağanalp in the 53rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Trabzon's Jo Adler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Irinel Țâpu. That made the score 0-9 after 54 minutes of play. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Irinel Țâpu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Trabzon's Jo Adler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Irinel Țâpu. That made the score 0-10 after 59 minutes of play. Irinel Țâpu was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Jo Adler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jo Adler really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. In the 65th match minute, Trabzon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hidayet İlsev to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match, Jo Adler tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Irinel Țâpu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 75 minutes into the match, FC ciufulici's goalkeeper Irinel Țâpu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fodil Otman. Irinel Țâpu was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Gencer Uluöz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gencer Uluöz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-14. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Gencer Uluöz took a quick shot and it went in 0-15 without a chance for Irinel Țâpu to make any attempt to save it.
