In the 3rdth minute of the game Javier Turi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC ciufulici's Irinel Țâpu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernest Gheorghiu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. FC ciufulici's Irinel Țâpu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orest Bredun in the 6th minute of play. The throw-in from Deivid Capixaba in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC ciufulici's Ernest Gheorghiu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrei Joita during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Legia Stavanger booed when FC ciufulici was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Joita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orest Bredun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Irinel Țâpu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes FC ciufulici got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Vrânceanu. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Javier Turi made a kick off. After some careless play in the FC ciufulici defense, Javier Turi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Irinel Țâpu. The FC ciufulici fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Irinel Țâpu should have stopped the shot. When Deivid Capixaba came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Legia Stavanger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deivid Capixaba couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Legia Stavanger's Irinel Țâpu threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Javier Turi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Irinel Țâpu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Turi, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 70 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Lucrețiu Oroian came free, but Slavcho Kanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Costel Luican the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC ciufulici protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Costel Luican had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 78th minute, Costel Luican hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Humberto Passos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Legia Stavanger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Irinel Țâpu was a little too slow when Javier Turi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Passos got free with Irinel Țâpu in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Irinel Țâpu came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Legia Stavanger's Alfred Klawki. But to his dismay, Alfred Klawki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Irinel Țâpu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Legia Stavanger left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC ciufulici.
