An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Palzewicz in the 63rd minute of play forced Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Mauda's Artur Walczyk got control of the ball when Javier Turi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Slavcho Kanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krzysztof Mios in the 68th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play Legia Stavanger's Abelardo Alonso was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. After a defensive mix-up in Legia Stavanger's zone, Benedykt Palzewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Slavcho Kanov came out of the goal and Benedykt Palzewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Legia Stavanger's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
