The corner ended in Mehmet Ferit İsmet almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FK Eldema Mstišov's Chiquito Flores did a great save. In the 40th minute Abílio Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquito Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivo Guterres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Šilha, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Ivo Guterres was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Josef Šilha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Josef Šilha really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. A collision led to SC Freiburg 09 getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Abílio Passos hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
