Joélson Melo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Joélson Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joélson Melo struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Walter Nyman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rockets. Dudu Madureiras short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Walter Nyman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dudu Madureira in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Nyman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the game, Joélson Melo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rockets's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Snubbinhoz FC the free kick. Joélson Melo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match.

If Dudu Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rockets reached it. Walter Nyman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joélson Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute.
