Manantiales Fc's Isidro Cresencio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ivo Guterres in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ivo Guterres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Ronaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Ronaldo in the 8th minute of play forced SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Ronaldo Ronaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivo Guterres was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 13th minute Federico Hanni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Guterres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Manantiales Fc defense, Raul Leal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbigniew Barowicz. The Manantiales Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbigniew Barowicz should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in SC Freiburg 09's zone, Ronaldo Ronaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivo Guterres came out of the goal and Ronaldo Ronaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 22 minutes of play, Manantiales Fc's Ronaldo Ronaldo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivo Guterres was left in no man's land by his defense there! Federico Hanni might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivo Guterres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Federico Hanni ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivo Guterres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Hanni in the 26th minute of play. Zbigniew Barowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Bragança, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. SC Freiburg 09's Ivo Guterres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Hanni in the 30th minute of play. With his leg Zbigniew Barowicz managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when SC Freiburg 09's Abílio Passos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Federico Hanni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivo Guterres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Manantiales Fc defense, Abílio Passos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbigniew Barowicz. The Manantiales Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbigniew Barowicz should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Leal was the one to do the kick off. Manantiales Fc's attentive Jonathan Reno managed to snatch the ball when Máximo Lameiras made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. SC Freiburg 09's David Martínez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guillermo Edwardo, made in the 55th minute of the game. Federico Hanni might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivo Guterres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Federico Hanni ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivo Guterres made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Federico Hanni sent off a good shot on target. Zbigniew Barowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes in the game, Raul Leal dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Federico Hanni might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivo Guterres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Federico Hanni ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute, Abílio Passos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Freiburg 09 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. 72 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Hanni. Manantiales Fc's Zbigniew Barowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Leal in the 77th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Hanni. Aurelio Aragones kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ivo Guterres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Oriol, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Freiburg 09 fully deserved thier win.
