Gentil Miranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Normando Fiúza's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Albaret came free, but Gentil Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SILMONT getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Damazy Ruszczyk hit a great ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Normando Fiúza couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pau Nas Canelas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
