With an all-out effort, Estrela Solitária's Andres Tavio threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedro Luiz Ferreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Estrela Solitária's Dudu Meira in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Estrela Solitária's Sandrinho Hoffmann got a free kick in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Matías Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centenario Bohemio's supporters rose to their feet, but Matías Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamim Dante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Estrela Solitária's zone, Mauro Fontanini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamim Dante came out of the goal and Mauro Fontanini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamim Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Nicolas Mosca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benjamim Dante was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the match, Estrela Solitária's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Fontanini came free, but Benjamim Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Pedro Luiz Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andres Tavio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Hoffmann in the 30th minute of play. Chicão Amorim got a throw-in 31 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Pedro Luiz Ferreira. Estrela Solitária were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Centenario Bohemio's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chicão Amorim took the corner. The corner ended in Chicão Amorim almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Centenario Bohemio's Andres Tavio did a great save. In the 37th match minute, Estrela Solitária was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Centenario Bohemio's Andres Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Hoffmann in the 39th minute of play. Centenario Bohemio's Andres Tavio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Centenario Bohemio from getting a goal against them. After the first half Centenario Bohemio were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute Estrela Solitária were awarded a corner. Chicão Amorim went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Fontanini in the 58th minute of play forced Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper Benjamim Dante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamim Dante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Fontanini in the 58th minute of the match. Andres Tavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandrinho Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Dudu Meira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres Tavio was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Andres Tavio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Meira in the 82nd minute of the match. The Estrela Solitária fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Estrela Solitária's Sandrinho Hoffmann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Andres Tavio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrela Solitária. Estrela Solitária's attentive Naldo Rossi managed to snatch the ball when Franco Camargo made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. Túlio Maravilha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Estrela Solitária's Benjamim Dante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Estrela Solitária from getting a goal against them. Centenario Bohemio were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
