BK Nerysminne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanimir Dragnev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Betinho Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio das Neves in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Maxim Gogea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomé Montenegro. Maxim Gogea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Tomé Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Josef Johansson in the 9th minute. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Tomé Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Ferreira Lopes MZC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of BK Nerysminne booed when Ferreira Lopes MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanimir Dragnev, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Ronaldo Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Betinho Arantes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Tomé Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Ferreira Lopes MZC from getting a goal against them. Ronaldo Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomé Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Josef Johansson sent off a good shot on target. Luka Beaugendre scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Betinho Arantes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomé Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Gogea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, BK Nerysminne's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Alcântara came free, but Betinho Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Calado in the 31st minute of play forced Ferreira Lopes MZC's goalkeeper Tomé Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomé Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Calado in the 32nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, BK Nerysminne's Tomé Montenegro threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emil Westergren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 35th match minute, Ferreira Lopes MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dário Martins to maneuver through the defense. After 38 played minutes Ferreira Lopes MZC got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Vianna. After recieving a nice pass, BK Nerysminne's Stanimir Dragnev tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ronaldo Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Betinho Arantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Tomé Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Westergren in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, BK Nerysminne's Josef Johansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomé Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 47th minute, Ronaldo Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferreira Lopes MZC made a substitution. Herald Depauw replaced Luka Beaugendre. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maxim Gogea to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomé Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maxim Gogea's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, BK Nerysminne's Maxim Gogea got a free kick in the 57th minute. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by BK Nerysminne's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dedé Paiva was slow to take the kick. During this time Ferreira Lopes MZC's players had a chance to rest. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Tomé Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Johansson in the 65th minute of play. Tomé Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Westergren in the 68th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Emil Westergren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomé Montenegro. Ferreira Lopes MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emil Westergren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. BK Nerysminne's Carl Ek was substituted for Maxim Gogea. In the 78th minute Eliseu Calado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josef Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carl Ek in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomé Montenegro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomé Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Tomé Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Ek in the 93rd minute of play. With a little luck, BK Nerysminne's Betinho Arantes got control of the ball when Ronaldo Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Ferreira Lopes MZC booed when BK Nerysminne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bratan Shebov didn't get a good kick on the ball.
