In the 5th minute, Sandrinho Hoffmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Åke Hedling was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 8th match minute, Cohaerentia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egil Flinck to maneuver through the defense. Dudu Meira came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sven-Åke Hedling could save by the left post. Sven-Åke Hedling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandrinho Hoffmann in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute Sandrinho Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Åke Hedling saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Sandrinho Hoffmann reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sven-Åke Hedling. The goal made the score 2-0. 22 minutes into the match, Cohaerentia F.C.'s goalkeeper Sven-Åke Hedling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dudu Meira. 23 minutes into the game, one of Cohaerentia F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Sven-Åke Hedling, was totally fooled by Estrela Solitária's Chicão Amorim, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Sandrinho Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Estrela Solitária fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandrinho Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute of the match, Sandrinho Hoffmann tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sven-Åke Hedling saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sandrinho Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Sven-Åke Hedling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egil Flinck hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dudu Meira got free with Sven-Åke Hedling in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 47 minutes into the game, Chicão Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrela Solitária's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cohaerentia F.C. the free kick. In the 47th minute, Chicão Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dudu Meira to strike the kick off in the second half. Dudu Meira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven-Åke Hedling having to make a save. After some careless play in the Cohaerentia F.C. defense, Dudu Meira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Åke Hedling. The Cohaerentia F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Åke Hedling should have stopped the shot. Sven-Åke Hedling came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrela Solitária's Dudu Meira. But to his dismay, Dudu Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Sven-Åke Hedling came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Estrela Solitária's Sandrinho Hoffmann. But to his dismay, Sandrinho Hoffmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Estrela Solitária made a substitution. Túlio Maravilha replaced Sandrinho Hoffmann. Estrela Solitária's Tarcisio Quintal was substituted for Willian Gaúcho. After having played for 67 minutes, Dudu Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrela Solitária's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dudu Meira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Túlio Maravilha in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Åke Hedling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Túlio Maravilha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Åke Hedling was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Sven-Åke Hedling came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Estrela Solitária's Túlio Maravilha. But to his dismay, Túlio Maravilha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. After 75 minutes of play, Estrela Solitária's Túlio Maravilha made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Åke Hedling was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Túlio Maravilha in the 78th minute of play forced Cohaerentia F.C.'s goalkeeper Sven-Åke Hedling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Túlio Maravilha made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Åke Hedling. Cohaerentia F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. 84 minutes into the match, Túlio Maravilha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Åke Hedling. Cohaerentia F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Túlio Maravilha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. After 88 minutes, Túlio Maravilha made it 11-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cohaerentia F.C.'s Sven-Åke Hedling tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Túlio Maravilha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estrela Solitária fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. Estrela Solitária's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
