With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joachim Hellkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to FC Momlinho getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Malcolm Hammarbäck hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Lucchetta in the 9th minute of play forced FC Momlinho's goalkeeper Joachim Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute forsal FC were awarded a corner. Alfonso Aquilino went to the cornerflag to take it. Alfonso Aquilino made a great header on forsal FC's corner, it was just that FC Momlinho's Joachim Hellkvist managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Fortunato in the 13th minute of play forced FC Momlinho's goalkeeper Joachim Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, FC Momlinho's Algot Skröder ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Válter Tasso. Válter Tasso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. forsal FC's attentive Attilio Bordon managed to snatch the ball when Anders Hernström made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. Joachim Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Fortunato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, forsal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Koller came free, but Válter Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sven-Olof Kielstedt to make the kick off. When Sven-Olof Kielstedt came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the FC Momlinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Olof Kielstedt couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute of the match, Attilio Pani got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joachim Hellkvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. forsal FC's Válter Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Hammarbäck in the 57th minute of play. In the 62nd minute of the match, Emiliano Lucchetta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joachim Hellkvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
