FC Momlinho's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. CJ Street ran over to the corner to take the kick. Den Newland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Joachim Hellkvist made a huge save. Kurt Aspengren's late challenge caught a Barr Point's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 24th minute of the match Jan Koller sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jude Bonham skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Olof Kielstedt in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jude Bonham saved Barr Point from getting behind. Joachim Hellkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Den Newland in the 30th minute of the match. Jude Bonham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Hammarbäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A collision led to Barr Point getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Den Newland hit a great ball. Barr Point's Jude Bonham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Olof Kielstedt in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Den Newland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malcolm Hammarbäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Bonham having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Hammarbäck in the 46th minute of play forced Barr Point's goalkeeper Jude Bonham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Den Newland charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Den Newland the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Momlinho booed when Barr Point was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Den Newland didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Den Newland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Olof Kielstedt got free with Jude Bonham in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 85 in the game by Sven-Olof Kielstedt from a close distance when the talented Jude Bonham managed to make a qualified save. Barr Point's players were relieved. In the 91st minute, Bayındır Mehmet Savaşer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the game, Eric Haeger recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jude Bonham. Eric Haeger showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. FC Momlinho's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
