The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gianluca Lapadula struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Florian De Vleeschauwere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Bukowe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianluca Lapadula in the 4th minute of play forced Sporting Mambo's goalkeeper Florian De Vleeschauwere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Gianluca Lapadula left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Bukowe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eric Mattsson scored 1-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerzy Dudek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Florian De Vleeschauwere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Lapadula in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, KS Bukowe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukasz Walczyk to maneuver through the defense. Jerzy Dudek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Mattsson in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Vano Alania threw the ball into play from the sideline. KS Bukowe's Lukasz Walczyk quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gianluca Lapadula might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florian De Vleeschauwere. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gianluca Lapadula ran back to his position shaking his head. Antony Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Dudek having to interfere. Gianluca Lapadula took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florian De Vleeschauwere. Florian De Vleeschauwere dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 37 minutes, Vano Alania mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting Mambo and the KS Bukowe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Vano Alania hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sporting Mambo's Florian De Vleeschauwere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianluca Lapadula in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Frederik Blaumüller got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute, Michal Jarosiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gianluca Lapadula stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Mambo's goalkeeper Florian De Vleeschauwere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianluca Lapadula in the 58th minute of play forced Sporting Mambo's goalkeeper Florian De Vleeschauwere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Michal Jarosiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Bukowe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michal Jarosiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Gianluca Lapadula had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florian De Vleeschauwere. Sporting Mambo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gianluca Lapadula was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. KS Bukowe's Jerzy Dudek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behzat Hazer in the 92nd minute of play. Florian De Vleeschauwere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Lapadula in the 94th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Gianluca Lapadula left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Bukowe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Sporting Mambo lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
