Montrell Harrell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jorge Hagi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emiliano Polito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Sportivo Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Contestabile came free, but Montrell Harrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Polito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Elivareo in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Hagi in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Polito saved Duri come il marmo from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Corrado Contestabile got free with Montrell Harrell in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Duri come il marmo's Corrado Contestabile dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After a rather tough play, Duri come il marmo's Corrado Contestabile got a free kick in the 26th minute. Emiliano Polito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Hagi went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Sportivo Ben Hur's Teo Elivareo in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Duri come il marmo's goalie prevented a goal. Sportivo Ben Hur's Montrell Harrell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Ben Hur from getting a goal against them. Emiliano Polito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Hagi in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Duri come il marmo's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Hagi came free, but Emiliano Polito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Hagi in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Polito saved Duri come il marmo from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Rizzo was the one to do the kick off. Emiliano Polito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Elivareo in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes Duri come il marmo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eduardo Pirro who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Duri come il marmo's goalie and right to Mario Rodriguez. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Duri come il marmo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Sportivo Ben Hur's Montrell Harrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corrado Contestabile in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute Sportivo Ben Hur were awarded a corner. Eduardo Pirro went to the cornerflag to take it. Jorge Hagi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Emiliano Polito made a huge save. After some careless play in the Duri come il marmo defense, Jorge Hagi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Polito. The Duri come il marmo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Polito should have stopped the shot. Duri come il marmo made a substitution. Carter Romanese replaced Corrado Contestabile. Duri come il marmo's Cristoforo Di Loreto was substituted for Mary Cau. If Arturo Baladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Polito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Sportivo Ben Hur's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jonas Esiquio in the 78th minute. After 80 played minutes Sportivo Ben Hur got a freekick which was hit by Jedrzej Chrzan. Montrell Harrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberigo Addari, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Carter Romanese took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Montrell Harrell. Montrell Harrell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Montrell Harrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carter Romanese, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Sportivo Ben Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Carter Romanese came free, but Montrell Harrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Carter Romanese shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Montrell Harrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sportivo Ben Hur players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Duri come il marmo.
