The FC Momlinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joachim Hellkvist should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Hagi in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Momlinho's goalkeeper Joachim Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, FC Momlinho's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Rodriguez came free, but Joachim Hellkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Koller showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Joachim Hellkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Hagi in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Mario Rodriguez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joachim Hellkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.

After some careless play in the FC Momlinho defense, Jedrzej Chrzan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joachim Hellkvist. The supporters of Sportivo Ben Hur booed when FC Momlinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Jelm didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Momlinho getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Harald Jelm hit a great ball. Joachim Hellkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Hagi in the 66th minute. Joachim Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With an all-out effort, Sportivo Ben Hur's Joachim Hellkvist threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jorge Hagi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 73 minutes into the match, Jorge Hagi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joachim Hellkvist. Sportivo Ben Hur's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
