Gianluca Lapadula started the match with the kick off. In the 5th match minute, KS Bukowe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislao Kuparinen to maneuver through the defense. Nagyváradi AC's Jedrzej Kasprzak got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nagyváradi AC's goalkeeper Jos Van Hinnendael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jerzy Dudek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Kasprzak, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A collision led to KS Bukowe getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Marian Mondrowski hit a great ball. Jedrzej Kasprzak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 22 minutes into the match, KS Bukowe's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Kasprzak came free, but Jerzy Dudek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jedrzej Kasprzak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jerzy Dudek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jedrzej Kasprzak in the 24th minute of the match. Jos Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislao Kuparinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes of play, Nagyváradi AC's Jedrzej Kasprzak made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerzy Dudek was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the match, Gianluca Lapadula had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jos Van Hinnendael. Nagyváradi AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gianluca Lapadula was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After the first half Nagyváradi AC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jedrzej Kasprzak was the one to do the kick off. When Jedrzej Kasprzak came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Nagyváradi AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jedrzej Kasprzak couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Marian Mondrowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jos Van Hinnendael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, KS Bukowe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gianluca Lapadula to maneuver through the defense. Jerzy Dudek made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Jedrzej Kasprzak sent off a good shot on target. 76 minutes into the match, Marian Mondrowski notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Nagyváradi AC's Jos Van Hinnendael. Jos Van Hinnendael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Nagyváradi AC booed when KS Bukowe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wieslaw Czajka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerzy Dudek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Du Song Lin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chu Yang Qiang made in the 90th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hong Xing Yang immediately put the ball in play. Ábel Zarka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Dudek having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Du Song Lin in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerzy Dudek saved KS Bukowe from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Du Song Lin got free with Jerzy Dudek in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The KS Bukowe supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nagyváradi AC's performance. The match ended with a win for Nagyváradi AC.
