Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5611, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Kronan's Nils Mikaelsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Kronan's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Aparecido came free, but Vilhelm Brander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilhelm Brander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Cordareo in the 11th minute of the match. After 12 minutes of play, Tigre's Justo Lore made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vilhelm Brander was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Drame in the 15th minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Stefan Orlicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kronan's Vilhelm Brander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Cordareo in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Pedro Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Brander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Per-Åke Galle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kronan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Åke Galle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stefan Orlicki made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Nils Mikaelsson sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tigre's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nils Mikaelsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Kronan's players had a chance to rest. Elu Begal made a great header on Kronan's corner, it was just that Tigre's Stefan Orlicki managed to reach the ball for a save. Tigre's Sergio Cordareo got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nils Mikaelsson in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stefan Orlicki, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 38th minute Kronan were awarded a corner. Nils Mikaelsson went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Nils Mikaelsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stefan Orlicki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Kronan getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Nils Mikaelsson hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gwyn Lawson made a kick off. Kronan's Vilhelm Brander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Cordareo in the 50th minute of play. The supporters of Tigre booed when Kronan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Qvarnström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Orlicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Åke Galle, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Per-Åke Galle took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Orlicki. Stefan Orlicki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Tigre made a substitution. Masao Koriotto replaced Sergio Cordareo. In the 69th minute Nils Mikaelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Orlicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kronan made a substitution. John Eliasson replaced Rolf Apelqvist. In the 71st minute of the match Kronan got a corner. Tigre's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kronan's Per-Åke Galle was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stefan Orlicki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tigre's Stefan Orlicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Mikaelsson in the 75th minute of play. The Tigre fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Tigre's Masao Koriotto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pedro Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Justo Lore who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Vilhelm Brander when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Magnus Strömbom hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Masao Koriotto kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot Kronan's keeper Vilhelm Brander was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kronan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gwyn Lawson was slow to take the kick. During this time Tigre's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Tigre's Gwyn Lawson to fire away a dangerous shot which Vilhelm Brander despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
