Loco Martin started the match with the kick off. Conor Alcock hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Jamala booed when Edinburgh City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josh McLairish didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tom Saunders was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Renátó Csernyi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amador Ishmael got free with Tom Saunders in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loco Martins short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Tom Saunders to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tom Saunders didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Jamala's Loco Martin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Tom Saunders was a little too slow when Loco Martin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conor Alcock during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, one of Edinburgh City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Edinburgh City. 23 minutes into the game, Loco Martin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tom Saunders. Loco Martin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Renátó Csernyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Saunders having to interfere. Tom Saunders didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Loco Martin went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute, Loco Martin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Jamala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Renátó Csernyi took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tom Saunders. Tom Saunders dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After 40 minutes of play, FC Jamala's Loco Martin made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tom Saunders was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tom Saunders was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Renátó Csernyi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 9-0 in the 43 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Martin in the 46th minute of play forced Edinburgh City's goalkeeper Tom Saunders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute of the match FC Jamala got a corner. Edinburgh City's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henning Eriksson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FC Jamala's Henning Eriksson to fire away a dangerous shot which Tom Saunders despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John McLae to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Henning Eriksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tom Saunders was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Shi Bang Xiang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jason Geddes in the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Edinburgh City's zone, Renátó Csernyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Saunders came out of the goal and Renátó Csernyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61st minute, Renátó Csernyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Martin in the 63rd minute of play forced Edinburgh City's goalkeeper Tom Saunders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Loco Martin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Jamala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. After having played for 67 minutes, Renátó Csernyi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Jamala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renátó Csernyi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edinburgh City's Tom Saunders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Martin in the 69th minute of play. Gareth McFarlane hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Henning Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Saunders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When André Carrillo fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Jamala's protests and gave André Carrillo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Jamala's André Carrillo got a free kick in the 81st minute. Renátó Csernyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shi Bang Xiang made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when John McLae sent off a good shot on target. FC Jamala's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
