In the 3rd minute, Damaso Cefero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eagle FC's Cătălin Gârniceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Gumaro in the 4th minute of play. Virgil Stănoiu's late challenge caught a ISPARTASPOR U21's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgil Stănoiu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th match minute, Eagle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Stănoiu to maneuver through the defense. Ekrem Tapa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Michel van der Bij skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arenc Tefa kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, ISPARTASPOR U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Erdem Tekay to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Eagle FC booed when ISPARTASPOR U21 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Araoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Eagle FC's goalkeeper Cătălin Gârniceanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eagle FC's Cătălin Gârniceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomir Lanczak in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Eagle FC's Ekrem Tapa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Michel van der Bij. Michel van der Bij yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Michel van der Bij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pana Rama, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute Ludomir Lanczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Gârniceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ISPARTASPOR U21's Alfredo Gumaro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cătălin Gârniceanu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 35th minute Pana Rama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel van der Bij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cătălin Gârniceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludomir Lanczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute, Emilio Araoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Ludomir Lanczak notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Eagle FC's Cătălin Gârniceanu. Cătălin Gârniceanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Eagle FC's Sahit Bajrami was substituted for Benjamin Fernado. Ludomir Lanczak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute of the match, Ludomir Lanczak tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cătălin Gârniceanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 55 minutes into the match, ISPARTASPOR U21's goal looked a bit too open when Arenc Tefa came free, but Michel van der Bij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomir Lanczak in the 62nd minute of play forced Eagle FC's goalkeeper Cătălin Gârniceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Ludomir Lanczak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Virgil Stănoiu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arenc Tefa in the 68th minute of play forced ISPARTASPOR U21's goalkeeper Michel van der Bij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ymer Memelli kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ludomir Lanczak managed to get in a good position for a shot. ISPARTASPOR U21's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludomir Lanczak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Gârniceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomir Lanczak in the 70th minute of play forced Eagle FC's goalkeeper Cătălin Gârniceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sol Campbell charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sol Campbell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Michel van der Bij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekrem Tapa in the 79th minute of the match. Ludomir Lanczak struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Cătălin Gârniceanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ISPARTASPOR U21. Eagle FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Virgil Stănoiu in the 86th minute. Virgil Stănoiu took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michel van der Bij. Michel van der Bij dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Alfredo Gumaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. ISPARTASPOR U21's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Gumaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Gârniceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Eagle FC had played much better football throughout.
