After a defensive mix-up in CANTERANOS DMS's zone, Hélio Lucas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Ocariz came out of the goal and Hélio Lucas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute of the match Bergamim F.C. got a corner. CANTERANOS DMS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tassos Koutsoubos ran over to the corner to take the kick. Didi de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Izotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didi de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zadornin Alberdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Zadornin Alberdi struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Didi de Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CANTERANOS DMS. Leonides Ocariz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Peixoto in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zadornin Alberdi in the 36th minute of play forced Bergamim F.C.'s goalkeeper Didi de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walery Dziedziak during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of CANTERANOS DMS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bergamim F.C.:s goal. CANTERANOS DMS:s Leonides Ocariz showed great skill when he stopped Tassos Koutsoubos:s penalty. In the 44th minute, Geronimo Izotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 45 minutes, Albinas Dumskis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CANTERANOS DMS and the Bergamim F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to CANTERANOS DMS getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Albinas Dumskis hit a great ball. After the first half Bergamim F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

CANTERANOS DMS's Pål Uggstedt was substituted for Miguel Sanches. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geronimo Izotz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Peixoto in the 59th minute of play forced CANTERANOS DMS's goalkeeper Leonides Ocariz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Claudinei Peixoto sped through CANTERANOS DMS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonides Ocariz. Leonidas Alejo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Leonides Ocariz made a huge save. The CANTERANOS DMS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bergamim F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
