Tom Saunders dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Tom Saunders didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ekrem Tapa went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Arenc Tefa hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Ekrem Tapa made a precise shot to the right of Tom Saunders. Edinburgh City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After a rather tough play, Edinburgh City's Jonathan Carlyle got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 25 minutes of play, Eagle FC's Pana Rama made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tom Saunders was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Darius McOmie fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edinburgh City's protests and gave Darius McOmie a yellow card for diving instead.
